Top ups via Snapper kiosks will incur a 1.5% card processing fee when using credit. This fee will be added by the payment provider and included in the transaction amount, but it will not be added to your balance. When confirming your top up amount, a prompt will inform you that a 1.5% card processing fee will be applied to your transaction. You must accept this charge before the payment is processed.

EFTPOS cards, and debit cards using cheque/savings accounts will not incur any additional fee.

Topping up via the Snapper Mobile app

When topping up your Snapper card via the app, a 1.5% card processing fee will be added by the payment provider. The card processing fee will be included in the transaction amount, but it will not be added to your balance.

Topping up at a Snapper retailer or Service Centre

Snapper retailers charge a 25-cent fee per top up, which is deducted from the total requested top up amount. This small fee covers the cost of the retailer providing the top up service.
Topping up a Snapper card using EFTPOS or a credit card at a Snapper retailer may incur an additional fee at their discretion.
