Snapper Frequently asked questions What do I do if my Community Connect concession expires?

What do I do if my Community Connect concession expires?

If your Community Connect concession has expired, you’ll first and foremost need to get in touch with Work and Income, to renew your Community Services Card.  Community Services Cards can take 3 weeks to be replaced, so it’s useful to make sure you order a new one in advance. Once you have your new Community Services Card, you can reapply for your Community Connect concession with us, here.

You will be able to reapply for the concession once the existing concession expires (e.g. the day after).

TIP: As long as the card is registered, a concession expiry reminder email will be sent to the registered email address in the month before the expiry is due to occur.

It is the cardholder’s responsibility to ensure that the concession is reapplied for in a timely manner following expiry. Refunds will not be available for travel taken before the concession is reapplied.
