Metlink offer an Accessible discount fare which enables Te Hunga Whaikaha Total Mobility cardholders and Blind Low Vision NZ clients with Snapper cards to receive a 50% discount off adult Snapper fares.
In order to receive the discount fare when you pay with Snapper, an Accessible concession needs to be applied to your Snapper card. Please see below how to do this.
The Accessible concession is available on all Metlink* buses and trains.
*It is not available on independent commercial services. For fares and discounts on these services you will need to contact your service provider.
If you require assistance for your travel, a carer can come with you and travel for free. You will need to show the Metlink staff member your Te Hunga Whaikaha Total Mobility Card or Blind Low Vision NZ client ID card on request.
